She ended up a bit more slender than imagined, but personally I don't mind
The trick is to thin the paint just enough to not leave streaks but still give a good coverage. It takes some testing to get it right.
A good matte sealer then takes care of the shiny finish. I use Vallejo's products here as well, but Mod Podge seems to be a popular product that can be brushed on.
